Rick Steves' Snapshot Italys Cinque Terre December 20, 2009 Edry (Coronado, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great help in planning to travel and hike this area. It was really difficult finding a book with this kind of detailed information. I would recommend it highly!
Italys cinque terre January 10, 2010 Dorothy K. Mcdowell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great little book briming over with the right type of information to make your trip to cinque terre a wild success. Also the size of the book is perfect for traveling. Thanks to Rick Steves for the right type of info for our upcoming trip. Kay
Italy's Cinque Terre January 27, 2010 Frank Netzer (Reedley, CA) This is, by far, the most easily read and understood travel guide for the Cinque Terre. Mr. Steves seems to know what travelers need and want to know. If you ever plan a visit to this exquisite area of Italy, read this booklet before you begin. Nothing is left amiss.
Wonderful! June 21, 2010 Jessica L. Worley (Madison, WI) We used Rick Steves' books throughout our entire tour of Italy and will use him for wherever we travel going forward!
Great travel guide - highly recommend June 24, 2010 CWR (Atlanta GA) I bought the Rick Steves guides for a recent 2 week trip to Italy and they made the trip so easy. The guides are easy to figure out, have great recommendations on places to eat, sleep, see. The walk-though tours of various museums are great (& save you money on an audio guide - especially if you use in combo with his Italy podcasts). The descriptions and maps are easy to follow too. We ate at several of his recommended restaurants and were never disappointed. The guides are also light weight so you can easily carry them around all day for easy reference. I highly recommend these to anyone planning a trip to Italy (we used the Venice, Rome, Cinque Terre & Almafi Coast guide as well as the Italian Phrasebook & the free pod-casts).
Be sure to visit the Il Pirite in Vernazza - and go early to be sure you can get a Panzetta.
