Product Description
Birnbaum’s Walt Disney World, the most respected and well-known name in travel guides, takes readers to the world’s most popular tourist attraction. Since ours is the only guidebook that’s official, this book includes the most accurate information on prices, changes, and new attractions for 2010. Highlights include the scoop on "Magical Beginnings," Walt Disney World's specially tailored, money-saving vacation plan for families with pre-schoolers, and updates on Pleasure Island's new venues, eateries, and shopping opportunities.
This new edition includes detailed accounts of all that's new in the World, including shows, attractions, restaurants, and lounges; updates on ticket structures and advice on how to pick what's right for you; current coverage of the latest eateries on the WDW scene, such as Sanaa (at Animal Kingdom Lodge), The Wave (at the Contemporary), and T-Rex: A Pre-historic Family Adventure; and expanded descriptions of WDW's famous "character meals"--restaurants that let guests mingle with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and the rest of the gang while enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We'll also feature fresh hot tips and new strategies for stretching your Disney vacation dollar!

Wouldn't go to Disney World without it! April 20, 2010 Winky (Essex, MD) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was told by a friend (who has been to Disney World many, many times) to buy this book. I bought the book and have gotten so much great information that you would not find any where else. If you are planning a trip to Disney...I think that this book should be called the "Disney Bible" and that you should definitely get your hands on one. I plan to take mine with me. I have so many things circled, highlighted and notes in the back (on a special page they provide for you) that I'd be lost without it. The tips they give you are great and already I can see that they will be so helpful on our fun packed days in Disney World.
I also purchased the Dining Guide and Pocket version of the book too. I really recommend all 3. I think they are a must to help you decide what you want to see and do and to make your plan before you walk through the gates. With so much to learn about the parks...its impossible without these 3 books to guide you to make the very best of every minute in Disney World.
Enjoy!

A Disney Vacation Essential! March 23, 2010 D. Patterson (Northfield, MN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is essential for a Disney trip. We have been to Disney six times in eight years, and each time we get the latest Birnbaum's to plan our trip. Usually it very accurate, and has great tips about changes from year to year. The information is very accessible, and the book is easy to carry along (as opposed to using the Disney website, which can be slow, and isn't easy to access during your trip unless you bring your computer and plan to use it often). We plan our trips carefully, make dining reservations months in advance, and do our best to maximize our time in Disney for the kids' benefit. Making sure to experience the most while still letting the kids get to bed early and fit in naps (to keep everyone happy) is a tricky balance. We wouldn't get to see/do/experience nearly as much without Birnbaum's!
Don't Go to Disney Without It February 11, 2010 LizB (Georgia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My family and I just spent 7 Days @ at a Disney Resort and this book was invaluable. They are right on the mark with everything. We referred to it all the time and by the we got to Disney we were referring to it as "THE" Book. Trust me, buy this book immediately even if you just think you might go to Disney. Their honest opinion and accuracy of the parks is the best way to chose the right things for your family. Including the type of park ticket to buy; we were ready to go ahead purchase the park hopper but after reading the book we purchased we knew the one day one park pass was the one for us. Which made our visit even more enjoyable and relaxing;
A must have for your Disney vacation! April 17, 2010 Bookreader 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had an older version of this book and loved it! I passed it along to all my family and friends. We're going to WDW again this year and I knew this book would be the first step for planning!
